BEE WING Experience Comes to Osaka for the First Time

On August 29, 2026, we held BEE WING Experience Vol.3 OSAKA at MIKI GAKKI UMEDA.

Following our previous events in Tokyo, this marked the first BEE WING Experience in Osaka.

Bass players joined us for a day dedicated to experiencing the sound and design philosophy behind BEE WING firsthand.

Opening Act by Takayuki Murata

The event began with an opening performance by BEE WING Sound Designer Takayuki Murata.

His performance brought the BEE WING sound to life right in front of the audience.

The immediate attack.
The definition of the low end.
The response to every nuance of the player's touch.

Before talking about specifications or design, we wanted everyone to experience BEE WING in the most direct way possible: through the music itself.

And that was how Experience Vol.3 began.

“Low End Is Defined by Clarity and Response.”

Following the opening performance, Takayuki Murata explored BEE WING's approach to bass sound through live demonstrations and commentary.

At BEE WING, our goal isn't simply to create more low end.

It's about low-end definition that remains clear within a full band mix.

A response that naturally follows the player's touch.

And a sound that remains easy to control across different environments and setups.

Why this body shape?
Why these pickups?
Why this circuit?

Through actual sound and performance, we shared the design philosophy behind each of these choices.

Listen. Play. Experience.

In the second half of the event, participants had the opportunity to pick up and play BEE WING basses for themselves.

Four-string, five-string, and short-scale models were available, allowing everyone to experience their sound and feel through an amplifier.

Through Takayuki Murata's demonstrations and explanations, participants were able to experience firsthand the low-end definition and response that BEE WING is designed to deliver.

Some things simply can't be communicated through words or specifications alone.

They have to be heard and felt.

That's an essential part of the BEE WING Experience.

We were also delighted that several participants connected with BEE WING enough to purchase their instruments at the event.

For us, seeing players discover BEE WING by actually holding, hearing, and playing the instruments was especially rewarding.

What Participants Said

Following the event, we received a number of comments about the BEE WING sound and design.

“Fast attack and great sound.”

“I really liked how the sound stays clear and doesn't get buried in the mix.”

We also received positive feedback on the fullness of the sound and the neck width.

Many participants told us they could clearly feel the difference compared with other basses.

Takayuki Murata's demonstrations and explanations were another highlight of the event.

“Murata's explanations were excellent.”

“I really enjoyed everything from the demo performance and explanations to actually trying the basses. Murata's in-depth talk was fascinating as well.”

“It was great to learn more about the gear and the thinking behind its development.”

One participant who tried a short-scale model also commented on how much they enjoyed both its sound and the way it responded to different adjustments.

The event became an opportunity not only to experience the instruments themselves, but also to understand the ideas and philosophy behind them.

Our First Experience in Osaka

For the first time, BEE WING Experience traveled beyond Tokyo to Osaka.

From Takayuki Murata's opening performance to an exploration of BEE WING's sound and design philosophy, followed by hands-on sessions for everyone in attendance.

Listen. Play. Experience.

It was a day that brought the essence of the BEE WING Experience to Osaka.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, and to the team at MIKI GAKKI UMEDA for making the event possible.

BEE WING Experience will continue to travel to new places.

Some things can only be understood by playing.
Some things can only be felt through sound.

We look forward to creating more opportunities for players to experience the BEE WING sound—and the philosophy behind it—firsthand.
